1. What we collect

RankPilot4U is a privacy-first platform. We do not require login, email, phone or any personal identifier to use any tool. The only data we store is:

• Anonymous prediction inputs (rank, category, gender, exam) — never tied to your identity.
• Chat messages with the AI Counselor, keyed by a randomly generated session ID stored only in your browser.
• Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) retained for 30 days for abuse prevention.

2. Cookies & tracking

We use minimal first-party cookies for session continuity. Third-party advertising is served via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to personalize ads as per Google's policies. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.

3. AI Counselor

Chat messages are sent to OpenAI's GPT-5.2 model for response generation. We do not share your messages with any other third party. Messages are stored only against an anonymous session ID and are not used to train AI models.

4. Data you upload (Admin)

The admin panel is restricted to RankPilot4U operators. Uploaded CSVs are stored in our database to power public predictions.

5. Children's privacy

RankPilot4U is designed for students aged 16+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

6. Your rights

You can delete your AI Counselor chat history at any time by clearing your browser storage. Since we don't link sessions to identity, there is no central account to delete.

7. Disclaimer

All predictions are estimates based on historical cutoffs. RankPilot4U does not guarantee admission to any college. Always verify with official counseling authorities (TSCHE, APSCHE, JoSAA, MCC, etc.) before making decisions.
